Paper: SU Basic Gray textured, Black, white, and Basic Grey Scarlet Letter. Bling from HL, bleach.
Yahoo...more time for stamping! It's Friday night, I'm up late waiting on the Challenge and here 'tis . . .We were to select a pillow from the Etsy gallery of Joom! Check it out here, fun stuff!!
I went with the "Iron Grey Hummingbird with Eucalyptus Pillow" for my card. First I stamped the flowers with bleach thinking I would get a bleached white image of my flowers and then I'd color them in with red...but nooooh! The bleach soaked in unevenly and actually even tinted some of it a light pink hue. Weird, huh? But, I actually liked the effect so I kept going. I stamped the "Blessings" sentiment from SU's Graceful Words set in bleach too, and then added some red bling in the corner to sort of look like another flower. Next I fired up my trusty Cricut machine to cut out a hummingbird from the Storybook cartridge since I don't have a hummingbird stamp (gasp!!!). Sponged it a little, popped it up on dimensionals and then matted the panel with black and Basic Grey Scarlet Letter <-- L.o.v.e. this DP!!
Another one for the "this didn't turn out anything like I thought it would" file! Sweet dreams everyone!

That bleach can be very unpredictable ... it seems to react differently to all sorts of papers ... the end result is a gorgeous inspired card.
Super inspired card Anne! I love how the bleaching came out! and the wonderful red bird and dew drops!
