<br />
Hi Friends,<br />
<br />
<i>Disclaimer! I'll start off by saying this post has been sitting as a "Draft" in my "Publish" file for almost 2 years - and I don't know why! So yah, they're older stamp sets and maybe not so inspiring any more since they are so "last year" lol!! I truly have no idea why I didn't publish it -- but anyways, here goes...</i><br />
<br />
Its birthday time around here and it's the time of year when it's "boy" birthdays for several weeks -- so I'm stressing about the masculine style birthday cards I have to make. Tim Holtz to the rescue, no one else does it better!<br />
<br />
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhD62jdckmRCNa30X58KqTFnu_LS8XpxYKvM8lhb9M3fuwu4UHLT06YOQG3XoDKzUArUNOrYhhl2E8V4eFVd63HWZey-G4pFSBFgi1vQa3ekm9pX7Xnh2rZuw_Eq4DtW61WQN4p_wgnbc6I/s1600/2013+pins+ornaments10.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="150" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhD62jdckmRCNa30X58KqTFnu_LS8XpxYKvM8lhb9M3fuwu4UHLT06YOQG3XoDKzUArUNOrYhhl2E8V4eFVd63HWZey-G4pFSBFgi1vQa3ekm9pX7Xnh2rZuw_Eq4DtW61WQN4p_wgnbc6I/s1600/2013+pins+ornaments10.jpg" width="200" /></a>The first card displayed uses the cupcake from Tim's "Birthday Blueprint" set. I stamped the design onto a sheet from TH "Destinations" paper and then stamped the cupcake again onto some Basic Grey paper scraps. I cut away the cupcake and candle pieced it onto the background. Some strips of paper confetti and words from the stamp set were added to the layout with metal brackets and brads to complete the card.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiZ6RtQdEmcJE2aAd89-afI7Cor9tqbfm588ec1j_9Sx5kw3r50zVtIIc5POIvkCU8_HI3CwAPgdj3dzauOgpIeBcQlDP77nwbxtrkG9Z5fa7FMd9OlI5Gdw09DG2QUlJFwXw0SgO9RLKtP/s1600/2014+cards0.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiZ6RtQdEmcJE2aAd89-afI7Cor9tqbfm588ec1j_9Sx5kw3r50zVtIIc5POIvkCU8_HI3CwAPgdj3dzauOgpIeBcQlDP77nwbxtrkG9Z5fa7FMd9OlI5Gdw09DG2QUlJFwXw0SgO9RLKtP/s1600/2014+cards0.jpg" width="300" /></a></div>
<br />
Next, from the same TH stamp set, I followed the same technique using Authentique "Celebrate" 6x6 paper pad and layered it onto white, black, then Kraft cardstock. The metal "wish" sentiment is by "Momenta". <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhB97zETpWsiBSLqaETyv2onysPS2ppPV5BNuqFsdqPg6PaMPB9Ojv5KXmmdE5vMYxSQpIluu55-UJD1MKz3rrb9NTUiBLKHAFoRYljjzQjKaMW6X26V7mJ1xd7XLBPKlNYnUG2wz4ijkN0/s1600/2014+cards1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="150" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhB97zETpWsiBSLqaETyv2onysPS2ppPV5BNuqFsdqPg6PaMPB9Ojv5KXmmdE5vMYxSQpIluu55-UJD1MKz3rrb9NTUiBLKHAFoRYljjzQjKaMW6X26V7mJ1xd7XLBPKlNYnUG2wz4ijkN0/s1600/2014+cards1.jpg" width="200" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
Here you can see where I popped up some of the paper pieces to add dimension. I also added Crystal Effects to the candle flame.<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjmEJbZckq2zC8oVcCzlZsAmLTMGMJBIzYiEqdOTzjl0_kYiwoa6-2iEWIX91pyYpuM1QEDMjkcTZ8WwgB4kYEvpMxN5H8RyvPfuxW5AN1FPf-jMUbweRAfmAQZo01m7FGpbxS1ZafsH0DU/s1600/2014+cards2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="322" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjmEJbZckq2zC8oVcCzlZsAmLTMGMJBIzYiEqdOTzjl0_kYiwoa6-2iEWIX91pyYpuM1QEDMjkcTZ8WwgB4kYEvpMxN5H8RyvPfuxW5AN1FPf-jMUbweRAfmAQZo01m7FGpbxS1ZafsH0DU/s1600/2014+cards2.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
This last card is from the same Tim Holtz "Birthday Blueprint" set, using the same papers as the cupcake above, but I used the "Present" image and paper pieced the bow. So easy to do, and hopefully not so frilly that I can give it to a "boy" and he won't cringe! LOL! <br />
<br />
TFL, I'm so glad you stopped by! Have a Blessed Week!!<br />

Hi Friends!<br />
<br />
Today's release from Heartfelt Creations is so much fun! All those pooches and pups are hard to resist!!<br />
<br />
The card I made for today uses the silly, bad dog that is just so cute I wanted to name him and bring him home!! LOL!!<br />
<br />
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgIHqdwKGwVcD2zvtsc_PP-exysOJxPYPK9KpzUuk4sItmv_8Wl1vAsklq-amqyGJbZkwwvevGgcvJlWiWG8tMfsARsxdcdEh-dFSuxKamw1B3C6Uu4h0oGbjTyrwWfRFM9er5QuzVx_I2x/s1600/Pup+blog3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgIHqdwKGwVcD2zvtsc_PP-exysOJxPYPK9KpzUuk4sItmv_8Wl1vAsklq-amqyGJbZkwwvevGgcvJlWiWG8tMfsARsxdcdEh-dFSuxKamw1B3C6Uu4h0oGbjTyrwWfRFM9er5QuzVx_I2x/s320/Pup+blog3.jpg" width="297" /></a>The cute pup comes with a matching die, so you can either stamp him directly onto your card or die cut him out and pop it up like I did. The "collar" around the card is also a stamp and die that's pretty versatile and fun, there's lots you can do with it -- not just for pet collars but a Father's day card would be fun or any masculine-themed card.<br />
<br />
I also stamped some of the paw prints that come with the set randomly across the bottom half of the card with VersaMark ink and heat embossed it for a watermark look.<br />
<br />
<br />
<br /><br />Lastly I added a charm from Tim Holtz Philosophy Tags as a dog-tag type embellishment. <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

(Sorry, that was pretty bad LOL!). And get ready - it's called "<a href="https://www.heartfeltcreations.us/shop/product-collections/classic-rose" target="_blank">Classic Rose Collection</a>!" Ta Da!! :)<br />

<br />
The step by step instructions for the card I created are posted on the <a href="https://www.heartfeltcreations.us/blog/487/debuting-the-classic-rose-collection" target="_blank">HC Blog this week</a>! I was going for the "rose gold" color with my roses using a pink-coral cardstock and gold embossing powder and Gold 3D stamp paint. They came out a little more rosy than gold I think.<br />
<br />
<br />
So, do pop on over to the HC Blog and you will be blown away by the amazing projects the Design Team has prepared with this beautiful collection!! Those gals know their way around a rose!! Seriously!! And, bonus, there's a "How To" video with Emma Lou to walk you through creating amazing 3-D roses!! <br />
<br />
Thanks so much for stopping by today! Have a blessed week everyone!!<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj4FzCbaYcRR22Va6at8u5uMmw-E0HCCHNi_-R32-KFwHhDiGCmi2-hA0FHb11-Wy8jbUXPvw3Jg7x2OFkD67DU2XvXkMvBhoa45oQz3K7abSbBU4-5CPvbiADY4LOKCrzwFFI1KlqLoeGQ/s1600/Snowman+closeup.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="140" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj4FzCbaYcRR22Va6at8u5uMmw-E0HCCHNi_-R32-KFwHhDiGCmi2-hA0FHb11-Wy8jbUXPvw3Jg7x2OFkD67DU2XvXkMvBhoa45oQz3K7abSbBU4-5CPvbiADY4LOKCrzwFFI1KlqLoeGQ/s200/Snowman+closeup.jpg" width="200" /></a></div>
<br />
The card I made features the Spruce Trees die and some decorative, natural foliage to create a winter scene in a box! I stamped each of the trees twice onto dark green patterned paper from the Snow Kissed Paper Collection and die cut them with their coordinating dies. I then covered them with a thin coat of Dries Clear Gue and crystal glitter.<br />
<br />
<br />
After assembling all my pieces, I inserted the card into a clear Heartfelt Creations box and added more die cuts and embellishments to the outside. <br />

Hello Friends!<br />
<br />
I made several of these "card in a box" cards with a couple different Heartfelt Creations collections -- the one I'm sharing today is with the <a href="http://hcgo.co/Celebrate%20the%20Season" target="_blank">Celebrate the Season collection</a>. Just a wonderful color palette and of course Poinsettias, so what's not to love??<br />
<br />
Here's a closeups of what's inside:<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhsHXaSiCUvwK833e84XFxM-2_geA7W_5MMKVc13Dfdbslr7DuiHA3mBXxVkFHEOnzlANBx0AV6R6AypAawoIZ7rBGwFqHEn0CKnbXbq1c77YCDI83yqsJhhNHw22yiBjq2TROW-QWBZFGq/s1600/birds+and+poinsettias+closeup.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhsHXaSiCUvwK833e84XFxM-2_geA7W_5MMKVc13Dfdbslr7DuiHA3mBXxVkFHEOnzlANBx0AV6R6AypAawoIZ7rBGwFqHEn0CKnbXbq1c77YCDI83yqsJhhNHw22yiBjq2TROW-QWBZFGq/s320/birds+and+poinsettias+closeup.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
The main thing to remember is to create the card first, then insert it into the clear box, and then add the frame or additional embellishments to the outside of the box so you can see how they align with your card. Here's the card that is inside the box:<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

Hi Friends!<br />
<br />
July reminds us that Christmas is only six months away!! And to get a fun jump-start on making your cards this year, like you always say you're going to do "next year" (lol!), Heartfelt Creations is releasing "Celebrate the Season" collection today!!<br />
<blockquote class="tr_bq">
<i><span style="font-size: x-small;">"The time has come to once again “Celebrate the Season” with Heartfelt Creations! Non-traditional in color, this new holiday themed collection showcases an assortment of exceptional winter hues…shades of teals, pinks, greens and violets resembling the northern lights, whites as crisp as freshly fallen snow and ice blues mimicking frozen ponds beneath the blades of gently gliding ice skates. Four fanciful cling stamp sets filled with old fashioned themed illustrations of ornate sleighs, wooden gates, gifts, skates, mittens, and simple wreaths filled with poinsettias and greenery, along with an assortment of charming sentiments will bring feelings of nostalgia from Christmas past to all of your crafty creations while being paired with the contemporary color palette of Christmas present. Three coordinating sets of dies will have you creating your very own dimensional embellishments perfect for holiday cards, layouts and altered art pieces. Join us as we “Celebrate the Season” and get an early start to all of our holiday themed creating."</span></i></blockquote>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjNtaUwIpReqLoSykp0OQfena1BB_KkVGyOMHpjbLjn-emjJMin4ZFeprsNovod8hOG2QP5nSkCPXyImQibPq2iUG2LQBXYkmqVnju-oegLTg36B89axQJJ4MgXuOGFIP1KuC51gJc_7hmk/s1600/Warmest+Holiday+Wishes+Closeup.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="290" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjNtaUwIpReqLoSykp0OQfena1BB_KkVGyOMHpjbLjn-emjJMin4ZFeprsNovod8hOG2QP5nSkCPXyImQibPq2iUG2LQBXYkmqVnju-oegLTg36B89axQJJ4MgXuOGFIP1KuC51gJc_7hmk/s320/Warmest+Holiday+Wishes+Closeup.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
The color palette for this holiday collection is wonderful! I love the non-traditional pastels that are featured. They're cheerful and feel "cool", and here in Texas, that's just about perfect timing right now!<br />
<br />
I went for a little more of a vintage feel for my first card from the collection. Just because the images seemed more from a days-gone-by era. Good times... The collection has some mini poinsettias to die cut and color, so it was fun going for an unconventional lavender color for my poinsettias.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhKyzJO5DE2k9EjLpwJcZqK4rXYNg-HpegbtsxfPqnIRV0xJBTeY1m9gbYIBP_hLmzlUfLI7thwpksMcHKPhATYzGQCQ97ZcTB1TvRNyS-QJfb47oPCDqy8EyrlNKY5Zdp4RmAaCwuz-EIP/s1600/Skates+and+Mittens.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhKyzJO5DE2k9EjLpwJcZqK4rXYNg-HpegbtsxfPqnIRV0xJBTeY1m9gbYIBP_hLmzlUfLI7thwpksMcHKPhATYzGQCQ97ZcTB1TvRNyS-QJfb47oPCDqy8EyrlNKY5Zdp4RmAaCwuz-EIP/s320/Skates+and+Mittens.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
There's lots of fun winter-y images that you can stamp and die cut to add to your projects, or you can diecut pre-colored ones that come with the papers collection like I did here. I distressed them with Ranger Tea Dye ink to coordinate with the rest of the card. <br /><br />
Be sure to check out the Heartfelt Creations Blog this week! Step by step instructions and a list of products I used are posted there. Plus lots of fun samples and beautiful inspiration using the new collection!!<br />

Hello Friends!<br />
<br />
Wishing all of you a very happy Wednesday!! Today I'm posting another card made from the <a href="http://hcgo.co/BotanicOrchid" target="_blank">Botanical Orchid Collection</a>. I love the hummingbirds from this set - they come in all sizes and you even have the option to use pre-colored images for those of us that run out of productive hours way too soon everyday!!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgBsQxm74lfyVVs9332bv6oOg76GKleHlGHrqgxvNlBzYiBd5EWgAQzHKEBD-Big_eYQWrNpz0hyetSVQnhfnedfRYNy4sVOC6jgmvtbdqOkAolz03wx_RhaCDRBidy0soK-hAaNGRIJPHi/s1600/Hummingbirds+and+Fuchsia+Orchids+closeup.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="200" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgBsQxm74lfyVVs9332bv6oOg76GKleHlGHrqgxvNlBzYiBd5EWgAQzHKEBD-Big_eYQWrNpz0hyetSVQnhfnedfRYNy4sVOC6jgmvtbdqOkAolz03wx_RhaCDRBidy0soK-hAaNGRIJPHi/s200/Hummingbirds+and+Fuchsia+Orchids+closeup.JPG" width="200" /></a></div>
<br />
I created the orchids using the coordinating Botanical Orchid stamp and die set and die cut pre-colored hummingbirds right from the paper collection. Easy peasy to do and the results make me happy<span style="color: #073763;"></span>!<br />
<br />
Be sure to take a moment to see all the amazing works of art on the <a href="https://www.heartfeltcreations.us/blog/468/Botanic-Orchid-and-Hummer-Papercrafting-Inspiration" target="_blank">Heartfelt Creations Blog today</a>! <br />
For my card, I created the featured orchids from white cardstock and added just a smidge of blue and pink to give them some color. I did the same with the beautiful hummingbird (one of two in this collection!!) and layered them onto the coordinating card front that comes from the paper collection. I also die cut a couple of lacy border corner pockets to frame the sentiment. <br />

<br />
<br />
<br />
The card I'm sharing today features one of the pre-colored images of the large conch shell from the Under the Sea Paper that I die cut with the coordinating die from the release. I used the same die to cut the silhouette of the shell from a folded piece of white cardstock to create a small shaped card. I layered the pre-colored image onto the front of the folded shape, then layered it onto one of the gorgeous card bases from the Paper Collection! Now, if you open up the shell on the front of the card, you'll find a sentiment stamped inside! The card opens up to lots of space on the inside for more sentiments or writing!<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
I also stamped and diecut three hybiscus flowers to go with it, which are also part of this new release! The step-by-step details are on the Heartfelt Creations Blog today! There's so so many fun ways to use this set - stop by the HC blog to see all the gorgeous samples. And -- Bonus!! On top of that - you'll get to see work from all the new HC Design team designers for 2016!! Awesome and amazing doesn't even describe it this month!! See for yourself!! <br />
<br />
Thanks so much for stopping by today! Have a blessed week!<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<br />
Hi Everyone!<br />
<br />
I made another mini album, but this album is <u><i>much</i></u> smaller than the one I did for Black Friday back in Nov. 2015! (You can <a href="http://everlastingink.blogspot.com/2015/11/introducing-3d-flip-fold-albums-and.html" target="_blank">see that post here</a> as well as the YouTube Video for it <a href="http://v/" target="_blank">here</a>.)<br />
<br />
The video is just slightly more than 2 minutes:<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<iframe width="320" height="266" class="YOUTUBE-iframe-video" data-thumbnail-src="https://i.ytimg.com/vi/QAwmDQYGMY4/0.jpg" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/QAwmDQYGMY4?feature=player_embedded" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe></div>
<br />
<br />
The step by step instructions for this CD Holder Mini Album are posted on the <a href="https://www.heartfeltcreations.us/blog/" target="_blank">Heartfelt Creations Blog.</a><br />
<br />
The project is made using Heartfelt Creations HCFP1-435-1 Pocket and Flip fold Inserts C - Black<br />
package. There are four flip-fold inserts in the package, and I used two of them to create this album:<br />
<ul>
<li>The The Mini Album uses HCFP1-435-1 Pocket/Flip Fold Insert A (12.0" x 5.5”).</li>
<li>The CD Holder uses HCFP1-435-1 Pocket/Flip Fold Insert B (12.0" x 7.75”).</li>
</ul>
The album is easy to create because the base pieces are already cut and scored. You just cover with your favorite papers, glue the ends you want sealed, and assemble in any combination you prefer! They are so much fun to work with - and so versatile! I am totally serious when I tell you that the shaker-card style front took me longer to make than the entire album! LOL!<br />
<br />
Here are some still close-up photos of the project: <br />

Happy Wednesday Friends!<br />
<br />
The newest collection from <a href="https://www.heartfeltcreations.us/blog/">Heartfelt Creations </a>has been released today and it is a sweet one!! The Berry Cafe joins the amazing line-up of awesome products!! <br />

shaped, ripe berries beckon you as you catch a glimpse of them through
the vines winding their way up the rickety old picket fence in the
picture perfect garden patch. Bring back fond memories of strawberry
picking while the early morning dew still lingered on the vines with the
new release by Heartfelt Creations. The Berry Cafe Collection will
have you reminiscing of filling pails until overflowing while playing
the game of "two for me" and "one for the pail", which always led to the
task taking a tad longer. Travel back in time to the days of your
childhood where you shared your first strawberry milkshake, or float at
the local ice cream parlor with that special someone you so adored.
Filled with sweet illustrations of vining strawberries, adorable
children, elegant blossoms, old fashioned strawberry stands as well as
delicately patterned papers featuring eyelet prints, soft checks, ornate
borders and delicious clusters of strawberries nestled among flowers,
you are certain to find yourself warming in the berry patch and
hankering for a cold strawberry treat. Happy hues of pinks, reds,
yellows, blues and greens create a cheerful color palette that is sure
to make your heart sing the songs of summer. Five extraordinary cling
stamp sets allow you to recreate all of the memories of strawberry
picking and enjoying the fruit from the vine. Color and shape your way
to a lush and productive garden plot where blossoms and fruit abound,
being careful to avoid the ever busy bees. After all of the toiling and
care, reap your rewards, head on over to the fruit stand where anxious
passerby’s will be ready to invest in your delicious crop...and once the
day is done, grab a friend and treat yourselves to that special
strawberry flavored treat with a generous helping of whipped topping! We
present to you the ideal collection to welcome summer!</span></i></span><br />
<br /></blockquote>
To make this card, I layered papers from the Berry Cafe collection, die cut out the pre-colored focal image (that die-cuts out perfectly with the coordinating die!) and made some of the little strawberry blossoms included in the collection. Everything is adhered with foam dots to create a dimensional soda shop scene! <br />
<br />
The step-by-step details for my card are posted on the <a href="https://www.heartfeltcreations.us/blog/">Heartfelt Creations blog</a> today! Be sure to check out all the amazing projects and inspiration the DT came up with! <br />

<br />
Hello all!<br />
<br />
For today's card, I went through my Heartfelt Creations stash of "leftovers" -- pieces and parts that I started out using but somehow they never materialized into a card or project. Let me just confess right now that I have a "lot" of left-behind pieces to work with LOL!!<br />
<br />
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj3Ix0qkAsY7AttH_1Lrbn7ltmTAWJ9-6jK4aa2cYuafcH_YKBBSHvOIFzxLCt8gEF12jRV7y-ieELsRgJbrzxn3xaAAJ_r8p6VyaMEVO7Yqmtyceu2pbve_tsVNyM_nTG5QsIQMwfiI1PO/s1600/Birthday+Blessings+flowers.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="200" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj3Ix0qkAsY7AttH_1Lrbn7ltmTAWJ9-6jK4aa2cYuafcH_YKBBSHvOIFzxLCt8gEF12jRV7y-ieELsRgJbrzxn3xaAAJ_r8p6VyaMEVO7Yqmtyceu2pbve_tsVNyM_nTG5QsIQMwfiI1PO/s200/Birthday+Blessings+flowers.jpg" width="150" /></a><br />
<br />
<br />
Hiding in my piles were quite a few <a href="https://www.heartfeltcreations.us/product-list?secondary=148">Majestic Morning </a>die cuts. My at-the-time, all-time favorite (before all the new all-time-favorites followed!). Since some were already colored a rich purple, I decided to pair them with the I<a href="https://www.heartfeltcreations.us/product.php?product=3511">taliana Riviera collection</a> because the beautiful papers featured purples, grapevines, wine and such. <br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgbofgOIrCbYbBnHy7kzb64kJs4aaas4W7piLZVWV8LD8PhhoVhi81guWhy8nzL4GDplhTVNDAiq03Kn10C6kimSPolBXWhdrUDIDK_t2DJ2peum9_TUs-LQ2DGJI-ysMJZ9-5Fm0BrPopw/s1600/FullSizeRender-2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="200" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgbofgOIrCbYbBnHy7kzb64kJs4aaas4W7piLZVWV8LD8PhhoVhi81guWhy8nzL4GDplhTVNDAiq03Kn10C6kimSPolBXWhdrUDIDK_t2DJ2peum9_TUs-LQ2DGJI-ysMJZ9-5Fm0BrPopw/s200/FullSizeRender-2.jpg" width="150" /></a><br />
<br />
I shaped and assembled as many flowers as I had die cuts, and colored them with Viva Decor Violet 3-D Stamp Paint. Then I selected a card panel with a vineyard scene from the paper collection. I decided it "must" also have some sort of pavilion surrounding the landscape scene and went with two of the <a href="https://www.heartfeltcreations.us/product.php?product=3195">Raindrops on Roses die cuts</a>. All edges were aged with Vintage Photo Distress Ink.<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />It was quite satisfying (and fun!) to actually use up the pieces I had said I'd save for "another time"! Take a look at your stash and see what you come up with! Thanks so much for stopping by today! Be sure to check out the <a href="https://www.heartfeltcreations.us/blog/">Heartfelt Creations blog</a> where this card (with all the details), along with many more gorgeous samples from the DT are posted!<br />

<br />
Hi Friends,<br />
<br />
I have to say, the combination of the Heartfelt Creations Flip Fold Inserts and <u><i>any</i></u> HC collection makes these kind of interactive cards so easy and fun to create. It's just a matter of deciding on a theme -- and off you go! I reach for them quite a lot now, what a time-saver!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhF2b6HWhNuSutFyYu5uJbd05zmpnR8X8UrzDKktyoEOiEw7KnRfNvHXx3HiM14HfKHPlRmookTjAiiBJO_zXrBT6e_OL7HLk17o7JMWk7IKpREAmtphotdQ4jGcfuEpUddtiGqYp3vY_bj/s1600/HCFP1-434-1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="146" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhF2b6HWhNuSutFyYu5uJbd05zmpnR8X8UrzDKktyoEOiEw7KnRfNvHXx3HiM14HfKHPlRmookTjAiiBJO_zXrBT6e_OL7HLk17o7JMWk7IKpREAmtphotdQ4jGcfuEpUddtiGqYp3vY_bj/s200/HCFP1-434-1.jpg" width="200" /></a></div>
<br />
For this card, I selected one of the panel inserts from the Pocket and Flipfolds "B" package (HCFP1-434-1). This is a great package choice to have on hand to make cards (even if you're not a mini-album fan)! I used the smallest panel in the set and accordion-folded it following the pre-scored lines.<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEggWj6e9ry_xBbODTV6uZrIKu2E52Q9ILsBZm7BJ2fMF2su9JVoM8KnH8JQ_XXrfYRBLUIAaiAvbyGHv2XZuy1pPNeby3anstlXE-MkXPYhR9LU5e2Oh_KQVrTcnvIek-1CiNg564wYCmvO/s1600/FullSizeRender-2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="214" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEggWj6e9ry_xBbODTV6uZrIKu2E52Q9ILsBZm7BJ2fMF2su9JVoM8KnH8JQ_XXrfYRBLUIAaiAvbyGHv2XZuy1pPNeby3anstlXE-MkXPYhR9LU5e2Oh_KQVrTcnvIek-1CiNg564wYCmvO/s320/FullSizeRender-2.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
I trimmed different papers into mats from the Winking Frog paper collection to cover each of the panels. I didn't really even measure, I just aligned the papers next to each panel and made pencil marks where I wanted to cut them. Obviously, you can certainly take the time to measure and you'd probably get a "neater" version than mine! <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgRUI8G3rxc0q24N7hyJt87wpF6924e3IHx9n4RLief-sfjtqAKm428m8TL2uW5G6wbAoEj1gjDWidkIW3rOKvenZ4zHusYSXMWh4_oTBvKJwQnXZ0ivgwayHJGJYm2gPnnWfY4HsUI0h5S/s1600/FullSizeRender-3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="200" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgRUI8G3rxc0q24N7hyJt87wpF6924e3IHx9n4RLief-sfjtqAKm428m8TL2uW5G6wbAoEj1gjDWidkIW3rOKvenZ4zHusYSXMWh4_oTBvKJwQnXZ0ivgwayHJGJYm2gPnnWfY4HsUI0h5S/s200/FullSizeRender-3.jpg" width="163" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
<br />
Next, I die cut several of the images directly from the papers - I just matched up the coordinating dies to the different characters and instantly had lots of fun images to work with on my card. This is the best part of all - lots of fussy cutting results without the fussy cutting!<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
I also created some water lilies and lily pads and attached them with foam dots to add even more dimension on some of the panels.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiO4tbOz9ch9Fyl3U5acM5yWDJDWIlrIuFBTOpEDUjIDdbpJ4rIPSoTb10VLLz4yv2Zkn-Kqcogl_jQvVKzsrlXFipPL3d7CZyn_PST6KAp4WQ4QoDGxyi0dZ9tyJryHCGWl-6VPSqcJo9O/s1600/FullSizeRender-1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiO4tbOz9ch9Fyl3U5acM5yWDJDWIlrIuFBTOpEDUjIDdbpJ4rIPSoTb10VLLz4yv2Zkn-Kqcogl_jQvVKzsrlXFipPL3d7CZyn_PST6KAp4WQ4QoDGxyi0dZ9tyJryHCGWl-6VPSqcJo9O/s320/FullSizeRender-1.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
The fun part was just adding all my die-cut images and my lily pad flowers to the panels and seeing the fun results come to life with very little effort!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgT1msavhOFdZ75iyzFRpQyA-PgCfHXGdy9T74Xxm5P6rUWTlkOZ_kG_nJzVWi5HYFW6LAj1cJwTKoma9uaGpUIP2pzmsld0V26bNSw9HS_Jc8ZMKITFMcUFvEktmhEnNBvhuHRFtjNFH33/s1600/FullSizeRender-4.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgT1msavhOFdZ75iyzFRpQyA-PgCfHXGdy9T74Xxm5P6rUWTlkOZ_kG_nJzVWi5HYFW6LAj1cJwTKoma9uaGpUIP2pzmsld0V26bNSw9HS_Jc8ZMKITFMcUFvEktmhEnNBvhuHRFtjNFH33/s320/FullSizeRender-4.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
There's just so many options and ways to use the different papers, dies, stamps and tools that HC has! You can see lots more ideas on the HC Blog today - every one different, and each one inspiring and fun! I hope you'll check it out!!<br />
<br />
Thanks so much for stopping by today! Have a blessed week!<br />

Hello Everyone!<br />
<br />
I made these corsages using the Sunrise
Lily Collection this week! I really had no idea if this was going to
be an easy project or not, but once I had all my materials ready, they
literally took less than half an hour to assemble both of them! <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjQYf-Y_qBbQPsjREi3mcpJNmbK3ftugHb2cUStIzPhSBWFpdivbc9f6PxwjfvyMKX5zE5zddvvAGqe_sLiM7Jy9hXUGJg43RGs1OCmc4u1h5WbOrbhvqCEy_kS_-pe-tumLN_3QigLr7Bm/s1600/supplies.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjQYf-Y_qBbQPsjREi3mcpJNmbK3ftugHb2cUStIzPhSBWFpdivbc9f6PxwjfvyMKX5zE5zddvvAGqe_sLiM7Jy9hXUGJg43RGs1OCmc4u1h5WbOrbhvqCEy_kS_-pe-tumLN_3QigLr7Bm/s320/supplies.jpg" width="274" /></a></div>
I
created all the lilies first from white cardstock, sponged on yellow
and pink ink and used green Viva 3D stamp paint for my leaves.<br />
<br />
I
had some small craft sticks (or are those coffee stirrers??) that I used as my base. I hot glued some gathered tulle fabric onto the sticks, then added my flowers, tucked in the leaves, sprays and ribbon. No real plan, just sort
of followed some googled photos of corsages that I found to get the design somewhat
realistic! Once the corsage was assembled, I turned it over and hot
glued a jewelry pin blank to the stick so they could be pinned on your
favorite Mom, Easter Date, etc.! <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiFX_EwoJCl9kJ37J5MgqZgkGHro6b8EvNc-AeRMyNBciP7RepDuhLgcO62ShAja5ceFj7rIzO_9gUlW0ERoWlwmkXR4yb4wMxn-kgDEPxMVe540w0TaMZVnnTtrlUTHHz-PoIT1qpxgOOe/s1600/yellow.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="301" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiFX_EwoJCl9kJ37J5MgqZgkGHro6b8EvNc-AeRMyNBciP7RepDuhLgcO62ShAja5ceFj7rIzO_9gUlW0ERoWlwmkXR4yb4wMxn-kgDEPxMVe540w0TaMZVnnTtrlUTHHz-PoIT1qpxgOOe/s320/yellow.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br /><br />So this turned out to be much easier than I expected and now I have plenty of lilies left over to make several more to give away as gifts! I'm also thinking it's a fun way to
use up some of the other leftover Heartfelt flowers I have waiting to be
used on a project!! "Bonus!"<br />
<br />
The specific, step-by-step instructions are on today's blog at Heartfelt Creations! Leave me a comment if you make some too! I'd
love to come see your work!!<br />

<br />
Hello Friends!<br />
<br />
My card for this week features vellum as a layer on my card front to soften the colors. I used Heartfelt Creations Sunrise Lily collection to create a focal point. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhQAge9wROV7OGRlywnGRu7Zv0KImg_npOR4H9jKXn3LqmtCrBULR5nXslHGGOIGG0SsxJMzVAzWOSl4-osZr8nbgPOclhe4vT2HjJFxdqhGWRqEXjNonj2113VGHxyjQbUkVprdea0yWZ4/s1600/Vellum+Lily+Card+closeup.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhQAge9wROV7OGRlywnGRu7Zv0KImg_npOR4H9jKXn3LqmtCrBULR5nXslHGGOIGG0SsxJMzVAzWOSl4-osZr8nbgPOclhe4vT2HjJFxdqhGWRqEXjNonj2113VGHxyjQbUkVprdea0yWZ4/s320/Vellum+Lily+Card+closeup.jpg" width="264" /></a></div>
<br />
I stamped my lily bouquet spray with VersaMark onto my vellum layer and heat embossed it with white EP. I then stamped and die cut a small dimensional lily from vellum with the same white EP. Next, I die cut the matching pre-colored image from the paper collection (this is so cool to have these images!). I cut it apart and reassembled it on the front of my card, incorporating the dimensional lily I had created from vellum. <br />
<br />
The scalloped border at the bottom of the vellum piece was die cut with the bottom piece of the Regal Borders and Pockets border die. While the die was still in place on the vellum, I traced the outline to further emphasis it.<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />

Today's post features the new and gorgeous Sunrise Lily Collection from Heartfelt Creations! I can't tell you how much I love this new flower! It is simple to color, easier than ever to assemble and the 3-D effect is crazy beautiful!!<br />
<br />
For my project, I used a yardsale-find frame that I cleaned up a bit. I covered the inside display area with a card panel from the Sunrise Lily Paper Collection and stamped my sentiment. From there it was just a matter of inking up the lilies, die cutting the pieces, and assembling them on my frame.<br />
<br />
<br />

Hi Friends!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
Oh you are so going to love this new collection!! So elegant, gorgeous and easy to create with! It's perfect for Mother's Day, Easter, and all things Spring! <br />
<blockquote class="tr_bq">
<span style="font-size: xx-small;"><i><span style="font-size: xx-small;"><span style="font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;">"Rich and regal in appearance, along with a divine fragrant beauty and
ornamental trumpet shaped blossom makes the lily flower a well known
garden variety and a sure sign that spring has sprung. Heartfelt
Creations invites you to prepare to welcome the season of new
beginnings, fresh starts and the bursting forth of nature with the new
Sunrise Lily Collection. As the title of this assemblage suggests, it is
filled with the romantic hues of a beautiful sunrise or
sunset...glorious shades of pinks, oranges, and yellows which also
reflect the stunning color palette of the lily blossoms as they appear
in the gardens themselves. Ravishing shades of greens, creams and whites
bring a crispness and a breath of fresh air just as the spring season
itself. Patterned papers reveal regal ornamental iron like scroll work,
dainty lace elements and lovely vintage like floral details. Beautiful
imagery of lily filled vases, pretty flower adorned garden hats and
luscious floral bouquets grace varying sized card panels, scrapbook
layouts and embellishment tags, and are replicated in five sets of
delicately detailed stamp illustrations. The crowning glory to the
collection itself is the dimensional lily flower that will add a touch
of reality to each of your springtime creations. So, chase away those
winter blues brought on by old man winter, combat spring fever by
filling your creative space with a touch of splendor as you begin
creating with the Sunrise Lily Collection for the upcoming spring and
Easter season." </span></span></i></span></blockquote>

<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjoracbg_os8hRH90PFTc66sCOmm3-p-4NPFdfYC7lWa7dfEBvmWGYD4JvzFAly6REvHraATOm3NSSZPIjZb3nI_5h-8grNKgF2AkOIJj4MK2C7Uudgrccx2pMCvOQ4HESds1D9w9P_UUAV/s1600/FullSizeRender.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="200" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjoracbg_os8hRH90PFTc66sCOmm3-p-4NPFdfYC7lWa7dfEBvmWGYD4JvzFAly6REvHraATOm3NSSZPIjZb3nI_5h-8grNKgF2AkOIJj4MK2C7Uudgrccx2pMCvOQ4HESds1D9w9P_UUAV/s200/FullSizeRender.jpg" width="150" /></a></div>
<br />A new feature to the paper collection with this release is that there are many images on the patterned papers that are sized perfectly to be cut out with the dies that are releasing with it! So now the same dies that cut out your stamped images, will also die cut many of the pre-colored images from the paper collection. I LOVE this concept!! So when you really want quick, easy and still-original hand-made cards, you can opt to die cut the already-colored images instead of stamping and coloring them yourself!<br />
<br />
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjciGKBg1TmXahOMLpMqvrbM3FBnD9qeQUmlgJ9SGq1ZOSs92TQCbd47X3MYaWtJqHYp3GenGBZdyhEWYUBHGtqfOG5DUcwH0-aaletn9cXQc3tvqWgmXJ8oeR7vz944fJxkjCpoAYDeWhe/s1600/FullSizeRender-1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="311" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjciGKBg1TmXahOMLpMqvrbM3FBnD9qeQUmlgJ9SGq1ZOSs92TQCbd47X3MYaWtJqHYp3GenGBZdyhEWYUBHGtqfOG5DUcwH0-aaletn9cXQc3tvqWgmXJ8oeR7vz944fJxkjCpoAYDeWhe/s320/FullSizeRender-1.jpg" width="320" /></a><br />
So, as an example... :)<br />
<br />
I made my card by simply choosing a card panel that I liked from the paper collection that featured a bouquet of lilies. I then found some beautifully colored, matching bouquet images from the same paper collection and used the coordinating die to die cut them out. <br />
<br />
I die cut two of the bouquets, gently shaped the back side of them to add some dimension, then layered them onto the like-image of the panel with foam tape.<br />
<br />
<br />
On the card panel I chose, I stamped the "Happy Birthday" sentiment available in the collection in Crisp Cantaloupe ink. I cut my rubber stamp between the words "Happy" and "Birthday" so I could stamp the words in a stacked design instead of side by side. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEguE1kVm6YazysJbLcgGNjmYDvwZD63APbTgCFdEwayFNGYEyQ-ciieMbNrJbpPyArgejOcYvRv_LBidrPIEFqDvljSfGvJbpLyHeK3yK-sTGAU5nkb-gW5lOOnzJkN4oj3NzkQNkikRfjW/s1600/FullSizeRender-2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEguE1kVm6YazysJbLcgGNjmYDvwZD63APbTgCFdEwayFNGYEyQ-ciieMbNrJbpPyArgejOcYvRv_LBidrPIEFqDvljSfGvJbpLyHeK3yK-sTGAU5nkb-gW5lOOnzJkN4oj3NzkQNkikRfjW/s320/FullSizeRender-2.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
Finally, just to add a little more interest, I die cut and shaped a couple of stamens from brown cardstock and adhered them to the centers of the pre-colored flowers on the bottom of the card panel. <br />
<br />
I embellished the lilies with glitter and dotted the white space with rhinestones for balance. <br />
<br />
Please take a moment to pop over and take a look at the gorgeous inspiration on the Heartfelt Creations Blog today!! There's also a video posted today introducing the new collection. I know you're going to love it!! <br />

Hi Friends,<br />
<br />
Can't help but have fun with the adorb "Sugar Hollow" collection! For my project this week I used one of the Flip Fold Inserts that Heartfelt Creations now carries and it could not have been easier to make a fun tag-holder wallet card! <br />
<br />
<table cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="float: left; margin-right: 1em; text-align: left;"><tbody>
<tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhWCqVm_kstC5NWOZaOknYsNs2beMN2vHChLabH209hRPTypjRzkD_tXh-N9k2WwDN8hDG2j59dmStsslidS-kKstymjL4GHkLIqLEm6u3A7ZF9nLK1kNZAsol5MXePOI-rfCNbPVVLHgZS/s1600/HCFP1-433-1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" height="198" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhWCqVm_kstC5NWOZaOknYsNs2beMN2vHChLabH209hRPTypjRzkD_tXh-N9k2WwDN8hDG2j59dmStsslidS-kKstymjL4GHkLIqLEm6u3A7ZF9nLK1kNZAsol5MXePOI-rfCNbPVVLHgZS/s200/HCFP1-433-1.jpg" width="200" /></a></td></tr>
<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">HCFP1-433-1</td></tr>
</tbody></table>
<br />
I started with the Flip Fold piece from the <a href="https://www.heartfeltcreations.us/product.php?product=3534">HCFP1-433-1</a> package in black. I covered all the sides with patterned paper from the coordinating <a href="https://www.heartfeltcreations.us/product.php?product=3580">Sugar Hollow Paper Collection</a>. Before gluing down the patterned paper on the inside panel and flap, I added magnets so that the flap would stay closed when folded. It gives the card a nice and fun finish!<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhuJv8ulCC9jtV9noVXaqAIBfJFJNlDjsUdPgo4ua_diX4ZJLVLY1oUkFfzX6XNMaQEz8asobWslt3eY6xHC_Spsbcv34t9JlA8lUeTPvexVKe3iIDtaKJv2RHa_OInhTRLhV77ImWgbjfH/s1600/FullSizeRender-4.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="93" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhuJv8ulCC9jtV9noVXaqAIBfJFJNlDjsUdPgo4ua_diX4ZJLVLY1oUkFfzX6XNMaQEz8asobWslt3eY6xHC_Spsbcv34t9JlA8lUeTPvexVKe3iIDtaKJv2RHa_OInhTRLhV77ImWgbjfH/s200/FullSizeRender-4.jpg" width="200" /></a><br />
Next I die cut circle pieces from black cardstock and images from the paper collection to add to the flap closure. On the front side of the circle, I stamped the round sentiment that says "Who's Thinking of You"<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgWbTOGZQOzPaOeerQAnWQSFX_P3ZNbmkva0sltu5zz6yUDcgJByvhEPMrfKcMKFY2DdLamosv0BYJENlag_S-fO_qp4XNQrdyHIIbYug8kEzlT0TQqqK_Y3bw1UvMp0XKptbsYakuelkqw/s1600/FullSizeRender-3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="187" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgWbTOGZQOzPaOeerQAnWQSFX_P3ZNbmkva0sltu5zz6yUDcgJByvhEPMrfKcMKFY2DdLamosv0BYJENlag_S-fO_qp4XNQrdyHIIbYug8kEzlT0TQqqK_Y3bw1UvMp0XKptbsYakuelkqw/s320/FullSizeRender-3.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
I made a custom tag by tracing the depth and width of the pocket area onto more of the patterned paper and covered the tag with the image of little owls from the paper collection. Then I stamped the "I am" above all their heads.<br />
<br />
I stamped one of the owls from the "Bungalow" cling stamp set and colored it in with Copic Markers, then die cut it out with the coordinating die. I stamped and die cut some small flowers and leaves from the Birds and Bloom collection to add to the card and just finished by decorating with pink rhinestones.<br />

<br />
Yep, it was that easy!! I didn't spend any time at all measuring and scoring and trying to figure out how to make the interactive element of the card work! It's magic and so much fun!<br />
<br />
Thanks so much for stopping by today! <br />
<br />
Have a blessed week!!<br />

Hi Friends!<br />
<br />
Cuteness abounds with the new <a href="https://www.heartfeltcreations.us/product-list?secondary=179">Sugar Hollow Collection</a>, don't you think? If you haven't had a chance, check out the <a href="https://www.heartfeltcreations.us/blog/">Heartfelt Creations blog</a> to see what I'm talking about! You can't help but smile! <br />

<br />
<br />
I made this window card by stamping the image of all the owls in the tree onto white cardstock and colored them in with Copic Markers. I then die cut my colored image along with one of the printed owls found in the amazing coordinating paper collection and adhered it to a 6"x6" background. Next I used a Cut Mat Create die to cut away the center of one of the card panels from the paper collection and popped it up using foam tape squares.<br />

My sentiment came from a tag in the paper collection and I just tucked it under the wing of the owl! So much fun and endless ways you can use these cute little owls on your projects!!<br />

To make my card, I followed a tutorial I found on Pinterest - there are several different versions out there and I chose to do one that uses extra "tabs" to anchor the interactive section to the inside. Some tutorials will have you cut away your panel to anchor it, both work equally well I think.</div>

Hello Friends!<br />
<br />
There's definitely a chill in the air here in Texas this week! After 70+ degrees for the Christmas week, this cold air kind of feels right, ya know?<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiH9Y4qckU4PzSEgdXcw8u4eLT4O2hKRvIg_9KekjFhbh24wV6iQNJ0VakjZM6sgsW2HjTT5t_WBgevKA1gJcaUVIEMANx0UaW9dJZDUBmoZsGh_4O-QGsdBBfJ9MwMR1t-QL9LKtvmJ79e/s1600/Jan+2+Coffee+With+You+Detail.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiH9Y4qckU4PzSEgdXcw8u4eLT4O2hKRvIg_9KekjFhbh24wV6iQNJ0VakjZM6sgsW2HjTT5t_WBgevKA1gJcaUVIEMANx0UaW9dJZDUBmoZsGh_4O-QGsdBBfJ9MwMR1t-QL9LKtvmJ79e/s320/Jan+2+Coffee+With+You+Detail.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
My card for the week features a cup of warm goodness made from the Coffee Talk Collection. I stamped the large mug onto some of the blue patterned paper from the coordinating paper collection. I then sponged on some blue Broken China Distress ink to create some dimension on the mug, then added sparkle with Cinnamon Stickles on the swirls. The beads around the mug are actually quite dimensional, although I wasn't able to capture it in my photo. I used Viva Decor Glass Effects Pen on each "bead" around the mug and the height of each drop remains exactly as applied, it's very cool!<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhiyyVWSKuIWKuUyBLCO0DuGloJ97v0IcbNKVtFY-JKqvIk5AHeTEh24kqMiB9X6j8DY2dJ__yEImm3nEctMAGmvFvvEOE6dsYDaEhCHvfxEYK5RRlZ5Ux14EaCDZactUrrW6vjkRk6pnOt/s1600/Dec+26+Coffee+and+You+upclose.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhiyyVWSKuIWKuUyBLCO0DuGloJ97v0IcbNKVtFY-JKqvIk5AHeTEh24kqMiB9X6j8DY2dJ__yEImm3nEctMAGmvFvvEOE6dsYDaEhCHvfxEYK5RRlZ5Ux14EaCDZactUrrW6vjkRk6pnOt/s400/Dec+26+Coffee+and+You+upclose.jpg" width="300" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
The little spoon is another stamp from the same collection that I stamped onto aluminum pie tin material and die cut with the coordinating die. This is a fun way to add texture and some contrasting elements to your projects - the tin die cuts perfectly without any problems.<br />
<br />
Hope you're all staying warm and getting some holiday-recovery time! Until "next year", have a wonderful, blessed week!!<br />
<br />
Thanks so much for stopping by today!<br />

Hi Friends,<br />
<br />
Oh my it's truly Christmas time! Are you busy decking the halls and hanging stockings by the fire place with care??<br />
<br />
I created this Poinsettia Tree using the Sparkling Poinsettia Collection from Heartfelt Creations. Had such fun with this that I ended up making 6 more for family members!! The finished tree stands about 22" tall with the star on top.<br />
<br />
It was impossible for me to capture the full tree in one photo, so these are not very good shots but hopefully you get the idea! <br />

<br />
I started with a paper mache cone that I purchased from Michaels. I covered it with paper from the paper collection.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhN9oPcsfLR3Z0WaGpAcLH7GIFYA0KN9QBVsGZR4aSMVK_3Gso-uKdmu4lhCNiscESH4yU8tVTMUtJa9lScmMUNHDu8tNZCrEHP_eKR-zSj4YaCKDtuzEW4IxZa4ejDWv6-_jffbR5kXalL/s1600/Tree+flowers.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhN9oPcsfLR3Z0WaGpAcLH7GIFYA0KN9QBVsGZR4aSMVK_3Gso-uKdmu4lhCNiscESH4yU8tVTMUtJa9lScmMUNHDu8tNZCrEHP_eKR-zSj4YaCKDtuzEW4IxZa4ejDWv6-_jffbR5kXalL/s320/Tree+flowers.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
Next I created poinsettia flowers using the stamps and dies from the collection. I stamped them all onto red cardstock with black ink. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjBMxPwwkv2XotKHyLvbWKXn1NPLL-hdXwVs1gjPtgWGNG2q9GfIfc_XlhqndIu3bqWoqjx_8XjNHekRS44sIlCVfZ0xBzTOum4xoiRtnkVb-iuHhgZOhktRnv_79XtAtHDd1nsRknWrxop/s1600/decorating.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjBMxPwwkv2XotKHyLvbWKXn1NPLL-hdXwVs1gjPtgWGNG2q9GfIfc_XlhqndIu3bqWoqjx_8XjNHekRS44sIlCVfZ0xBzTOum4xoiRtnkVb-iuHhgZOhktRnv_79XtAtHDd1nsRknWrxop/s320/decorating.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
I also stamped and die cut leaves from the collection for the tree. After creating all the flowers and leaves that I thought I might need, I wound ribbon around the entire tree then filled in the rest of the space on the tree with my poinsettias and various other Christmas themed embellishments that I some how seem to collect every year. This was a great way to use some of those up!!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEheGRvtWJ2Mb0rGEslC35iEA2YVV31VH_Pg8TQQ3CQGrN8gSBq3Dmx_Ms9GAie3fjwCWvoSh7qQ2fcqFqiMIq8uF8kNj4BIRHCfUFwufrJ3l7oEvFgv_htWZ_Ry23Mo2EwrR4V3tcAhCsmy/s1600/decorating+with+bows.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEheGRvtWJ2Mb0rGEslC35iEA2YVV31VH_Pg8TQQ3CQGrN8gSBq3Dmx_Ms9GAie3fjwCWvoSh7qQ2fcqFqiMIq8uF8kNj4BIRHCfUFwufrJ3l7oEvFgv_htWZ_Ry23Mo2EwrR4V3tcAhCsmy/s320/decorating+with+bows.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
I used mini shinny red and gold bows, mini pinecones, glitter styro-foam balls, ribbon and various buttons and trinkets to fill in the spaces.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg_IyH_asZzBUZPmTlhBRHr4F34kuBHQ5TqXLyPSi2efBvDUPsnYFVwYz9vd2oILlGIm_Rq84y8W4o2uhTz12EHRLxmFSRo6Z9Fwawd-sFccvmYvDJCw_cfkUU7fdP7WKGZafZ-nrRJGXPI/s1600/snowflakes.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg_IyH_asZzBUZPmTlhBRHr4F34kuBHQ5TqXLyPSi2efBvDUPsnYFVwYz9vd2oILlGIm_Rq84y8W4o2uhTz12EHRLxmFSRo6Z9Fwawd-sFccvmYvDJCw_cfkUU7fdP7WKGZafZ-nrRJGXPI/s320/snowflakes.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhEJ5HzPWFxxL8alg4eDifQ8jTc-27fbbgyIoMtEHZz-FfxKWbvhy0TbAcagaaliFYqZJvAv95HE7qO90H6xN_l-SCK08ilhrnTdrIeL3kCXEAa3LvgbqFcQ5mi9_pjwb1U-5ifMeYEK2m3/s1600/Star+on+top.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhEJ5HzPWFxxL8alg4eDifQ8jTc-27fbbgyIoMtEHZz-FfxKWbvhy0TbAcagaaliFYqZJvAv95HE7qO90H6xN_l-SCK08ilhrnTdrIeL3kCXEAa3LvgbqFcQ5mi9_pjwb1U-5ifMeYEK2m3/s320/Star+on+top.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
For the tree topper, I die cut 5 snowflakes from the Arrianna Blooms collection from sparkly white glitter paper. I creased the snowflakes then glued the together to create a 3D star. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

Finally, for the tree skirt, a created a large rosette from the paper collection and wrapped it around the bottom of the tree base! <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgbDs-RjgMcL_hc4JKEKyx9H_qB-8LhM9lcA4Vv2pHbFmTWTAkhIfglKAxx8IyjQBffo12TXGEL0fOsvC1kDRCDGwv1iBkVQlK19IHXZwgK0-MyP21Jbbkug8kbS0CMn5qkJCAqSoonsvdC/s1600/base.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgbDs-RjgMcL_hc4JKEKyx9H_qB-8LhM9lcA4Vv2pHbFmTWTAkhIfglKAxx8IyjQBffo12TXGEL0fOsvC1kDRCDGwv1iBkVQlK19IHXZwgK0-MyP21Jbbkug8kbS0CMn5qkJCAqSoonsvdC/s320/base.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
Hope you enjoyed the photos and possibly gave you an idea for next year on how you can use up some of those little Christmas embellishments that seem to secretly multiply while in hibernation through the year!!<br />

I started by stamping the wonderful whimsical script-y background stamp onto Kraft card stock. Next I poured the three different colors of embossing powder across the card front and heat set them. I then stamped the small coffee cup and heat embossed it with dark brown embossing powder and added it to the card front with some swirly gems. A great card to give as a Thinking of You, Just for You, Friends, Get Well, etc. <br />

Hi Friends!<br />
<br />
How are the holiday preparations going this week? I hope you're farther ahead than I am!!<br />
<br />
My Heartfelt Creations card this week is a gate-fold card featuring the new large oval decorative die and ruffed dress from the <a href="https://www.heartfeltcreations.us/product-list?secondary=176">All Glammed Up collection</a>.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh7rRa3fSqwDp1N8I3w9ek_QODCwWwlHun5sYsrOsS3SIZwqq8qaOOimWuCg_qbmE7PGZEDok8_VV0negHNioI020YxCEC3w78t2MhNQC2em5hQVzL00VWEizB4n9jar09R4hybfdiQkWnn/s1600/Christmas+Dress+close+up+tri+panels.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="200" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh7rRa3fSqwDp1N8I3w9ek_QODCwWwlHun5sYsrOsS3SIZwqq8qaOOimWuCg_qbmE7PGZEDok8_VV0negHNioI020YxCEC3w78t2MhNQC2em5hQVzL00VWEizB4n9jar09R4hybfdiQkWnn/s200/Christmas+Dress+close+up+tri+panels.JPG" width="150" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
<br />
I created a gate fold card base and adhered the decorative lattice oval to the left side and the mirrored oval panel to the right.<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
