Love You Dearly

 Hi Friends,

Here's a stack of cards and alterables that I've been working on recently. I've had an unusually large influx of stamping and crafting goodies come in and I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed!!  But in a good way of course LOL!!

The lead card is part of my experimenting with punching aluminum soda cans.  Although I'm not posting much displaying my recent fascination with altering soda cans (I've ravaged tons of cans recently!!), these first few items are just a sampling.  The leaf stem in the card above is a negative die cut popped up over Kraft printed DP.  The tin flowers were made with a very old, retired Sizzix green die.

For these framed flowers, I stamped an "Aladine" background stamp called "Fleurineux" (purchased from Frantic Stamper) onto white CS.  The leaf and stem are from SU's "Sweetheart" set.  I placed the stamped background under the framed glass, then used my hot glue gun to attach the tin flower and the orange Prima "Sculptured Flowers" on top of the glass.

Next, back to a little more traditional card making...

The fabulous rose on this card is from SU's new Stippled Blossom set, it's a 2-step style set.  I first stamped the solid rose in Snow Cap (by Ranger) and then over-stamped the white rose with Cherry Cobbler using the 2nd step of the stamp set.  I created this for the IC over on SCS that I'm hosting this weekend.  My inspiration piece was this "Organic Fabric Suitcase" from My Sweet Muffin.  Come on over and join me!!

I made this card for my dad for Father's day. I recently went to a Scrapbook Convention where I stock up on Tim Holtz dies.  This year I snagged lots of vintage style dies.  This card is made with the TH Large Vintage Fan.  I die cut the fan twice; once using a silver reflector CS piece and a second one using Chocolate Chip CS.

I cut away the blades from the Chocolate Chip diecut and popped it up over the silver diecut using a fun "Wobble" disk.

I hand wrote the sentiment that says "I'm a big fan" on a scrap piece of DP and and inside I stamped the sentiment that says "Forever" by Paper Smooches.  I loved making this card!!

This robot card was way too easy.  The robot is a chipboard sticker by KaiserCraft.  I doodled around it and added some old "transistors" that I had stashed away for eons.  (I don't know why I had them, I just did!!  It must have been one of those "I might need these some day".)  Anyhow, they worked out perfect for this card. I just bent the wire ends and inserted them like brads into the card

TFL, I'm so glad you stopped by!
