Spread Your Wings!

Hi All,

Came across a super cute owl made with the Stampin Up! Owl Punch on Wendy Jansen's blog who cased it from Teneal Williams!  So I'm definately not the originator but I am a fan!  Punched "anything" is always an easy way to get results!


I didn't find instructions on piecing the owl together so I just sort of copied what I saw. It looked to me like the wings were made from the circle scallop punch so I just trimmed those up and positioned the wings like their pictures and assembled the rest of the owl as the punch was intended.  


I had some graduation-cap-shaped brads from last year so I used one of those instead of trying to figure out the cap like the originators did.




This card was really hard to photograph!  I guess because of all he white, my little 5-year old 35mm couldn't soak it all in!  So I took a closeup of the embossing that is on the base of the card.  It's a Cuttlebug folder, just sort of added a little bit of a finishing touch to the whole thing.

What a super graduation card Anne! That owl is just so cute - love him in the felt with his jaunty hat and diploma! Have a super Mother's Day dear friend!
