Woodware Challenge and My Altered Mailbox!!

Hello All!

A few weeks ago my good friend Lou (Stampcat Creations) came over for a play day and brought a little mini mailbox (the $1 ones from Target) for each of us to alter as a challenge!!
Egads!!  I'm not an "alter-er"!!  Seriously, it took my crazy talented friend, Lou, only part of the afternoon and she was finished with BOTH the mailbox and matching card (see her fantastic set here) and it took me days... and I literally mean days... to finally be o.k. with mine.

And it's really still not finished in my eyes!!  It needs a stamped sentiment on the flag, doesn't it -- am I right??  I'm sure it does!!  But I haven't decided on the occasion for which it will be given away.  So until then, it will remain unaddressed.  Sigh...I apologize. . .
Meanwhile, these photos show you the different sides of the mailbox as it remains right now along with the matching card that I made (and actually forgot to give away at Valentines -- Bad Anne!!)

BUT WAIT -- THERE'S MORE!!

NEXT UP .... My Woodware Challenge Card for week!!  The challenge this week is for a shaped card!!  Yep, this is a fun one everyone!!  Be sure to head over to the Woodware Challenge Blog and enter your "Shaped Card" for a chance to win a free Woodware USA Set!!  I love the new Spring Sets that have been released!!  Have you checked them out yet??!!

This card is made with my Cricut and the Owl Set.  I used Cindy Lou Cartridge and the WWUSA Owl Greetings Set.

Super easy an so much Fun!!!  You can make any shape you'd like!!  Hope you'll join us!!  Be sure to check out the other DT members blogs for more awesome samples and leave the hard working gals some love!!  Thanks so much!!
