So Simple it Took All Week!

I thought I would never get to these two challenges this week!! Wow, this cardmaking - blogging - workshop - swaps - challenges - card giving obligations sure do consume time!! Who has time to work?? The CAS Challenge this week over on SCS is to add dots to your CAS card. I just got this new Lines and Dots punch by EK Success (Julia's fault) and knew it's time had come! I used a Scalloped Edge note card from SU (already cut, scored and scalloped for you!) and centered the border punch at the bottom and gave it one quick punch. The basket image was created for this week's Doubledog Dare Challenge -- hosted by Joan Ervin who's cards are more brilliant with every post (seriously, check out that girl's work!!). She challenged the girls to create a card with a basket and to include plaid on the card. So I stamped the basket of tulips from A Flower for All Seasons set on white CS, colored it in with copics and layered it onto plaid DP that I die cut with a Nestibilities Small Pinking circle. I added a white Easter sentiment from the SU Chit Chat Rub Ons to finish it off (it's really hard to see it in the photo). And in the spirit of CAS, nothing else was added to the card! This must have taken maybe 10 minutes to do! Ahhhh...what took me so long??!! Thanks for checking in!!
