Double Flip Photo Card!

Hi Friends!

I've been in paper-craft heaven these days! Heartfelt Creations is absolutely going over the top crazy with the upcoming releases - you won't believe the goodies coming your way for Black Friday and beyond.  That's all I can say for now, just know you will be blown away!!

Meanwhile, I have been happily playing with the beautiful Italiana Riviera Collection - the gorgeous rich purples and green foliage are so inspiring!  I created a "Double Flip Card" this week that features a pair of dies that when used together, result in a wonderfully intricate and decorative border for your projects.  Emma Lou did a great video with instructions on how to use the dies that you will want to watch here

For my card, I first created the main 6"x6" card base and then layered a second full card on the front to make it a double-flip card.  The top card is actually smaller so it presents as if it is just one of the layers on the card.

I used the vine border dies on the top card to get the lush edge and even created a second layer of the border, just 'cause it's so gorgeous!!

When you flip up the top card, here's what's inside:

Then flip up the inside and you get to the second layer of the "double-flip card" (the photo is from the Heartfelt Creations family photo album!):

And since I'm showing lots of pictures today :0) , here's another look at the front of the card showing the die cut leaves and grapes that I added to complete the design:

All the measurements and the step-by-step instructions are posted on the Heartfelt Creations blog today!  Stop by and check it out and see what the rest of the designers have created!  They are a talented crew, you won't be disappointed!!

Have a blessed week everyone! Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Italiana Wine and Vines Card

Hi All!

Happy to have you stop by today!  This week's card features Heartfelt Creation's newest Italiana Riviera Collection that debuted last week!

I stamped and gold-embossed the script background using the Italiana Script stamp on the front of the card.  Next I chose a card panel from the gorgeous paper collection that featured a grape border across the bottom.  I cut away the center white area using my trusty Gyrocut craft knife and then adhered the resulting frame with dimensional foam tape to create a window-style card.

Next I stamped and die cut several ivy leaves and a couple of grape bunches.  The grapes were colored in with Copic markers and the leaves were created from green cardstock and gold embossing powder.  I then stamped and die cut the wine bottle and glass in Black Stazon onto gold metallic paper.   I tucked those into the image among the grapes and used gold Peel-Off stickers to embellish across the bottom of the frame to complete the card!

Here's the Heartfelt Creations products I used today:
HCDP1-259 Italiana Riviera Paper Collection
HCD1-773 Italiana Grape Clusters Die
HCD1-772 Italiana Grape Vines Die
HCPC-33697 Italiana Grape Clusters Cling Stamp Set
HCPC-3696 Italiana Grapevines Cling Stamp Set
HCPC-3699 Italiana Script Cling Stamp Set
The Heartfelt Creations Blog is overflowing with new, amazing inspiration and projects today!  Be sure to check it out!!

Have a blessed week everyone!  Thanks so much for being here!

Cork Tag -- Brand New Release from Heartfelt Creations!

Hi Friends!

It's a great day for a new release!  Heartfelt Creations debuts "Italiana Riviera" this week and it is fabulous!  IMO, HC is evolving with every release and becoming even more sophisticated and gorgeous with every new product line!  I'm sure this is what heaven is going to be like!! ;)
"It's time to slow down the daily pace, take a deep breath and embrace life with the new Heartfelt Creations Italiana Riviera Collection.  We invite you to stroll down the Italian coastline taking in the spectacular seaside views, open markets, and amazing architecture while allowing yourself to relax and get lost in an easy going way of life.  Feel the gentle breeze, breathe in the aromas of salty mist and mouthwatering eats as you pass by a harbour lined with delightful cafes and quaint little shops calling out to you to pause for a visit. Step through towering stone gates to meander through perfectly manicured vineyards boasting rows and rows of coiling vines filled with dense foliage and  plump clusters of exquisitely purple hued grapes.  Then as the sun sets, continue to take in the old world charm and beauty of the area as you relax in your villa, enjoying a glass of fine wine aged to perfection while jotting down all of the days wonderful adventures on an old fashioned postcard, pausing occasionally only to peer out the old stone window that reveals the most surreal view of lush gardens, stately mountains, beautiful flowers and that perfectly manicured vineyard.  At Heartfelt Creations we dismiss the misconceived notion that you are required to leave your craft room to experience the finer things in life...so come along with us as we invite you to explore the charm and elegance of the Italiana Riviera Collection!"
The first project I made with the collection is kind of a no-brainer!  Since the collection is all about the culture of wine and vineyards, I made a wine bottle tag/card featuring the gorgeous paper collection.  I drew my template on copy paper based on other tags I have seen before, just sort of eye-balling the dimensions and "fitting" it to the bottle like a dress pattern (LOL)!  I replicated it onto black cardstock and decorated it with the patterned papers.  Specific dimensions to make this tag are published on the HC blog today.

I chose a used cork from a stash I have and sliced off about 1/4 of it length-wise so it would lay flat and adhere to the card.

Next I made a matching, poly-shrink plastic charm, using the grape cluster stamp and matching die set.  I added a tiny eye-screw to the top of the cork, threaded the charm onto a wire jewelry ring and hung the charm onto the cork.  I adhered the cork to the tag, added a burlap bow.

These are the Heartfelt Creations Products I used for this project:
HCDP1-259 Italiana Riviera Paper Collection
HCPC-3696 Italiana Grapevines Cling Stamp Set
HCD1-772 Italiana Grape Vines Die Set

There's so much more to this collection and in the coming weeks I'll be posting more projects - hopefully each new one will inspire you to check out the entire line!

For lots of gorgeous examples to get you started, check out what the Design Team came up with [here] this week with the new collection!  I think you'll love it as much as I do!

A Handmade Card

Hi Friends,

I went back to the Farmers Market Collection for today's post.  It still reigns as one of my all-time favorites but I hadn't played with the apple images from the collection yet so that's where I started.

I stamped the Basket with Bottle image from the Apple Harvest Cling Stamp Set, colored it with Copic Markers then fussy cut the image out.  I attached it to another card I had started that was made with papers from the same collection, and somehow the two just seemed to go together.

Pretty simple project this week!

Be sure to stop by the HC Blog today!  There are some gorgeous Fall Projects that you'll want to take a look at - fun and amazing creativity to inspire you!  You'll also get a peek at next week's new Italiana Riviera Release!!  There's a video showcasing some beautiful projects with the wonderful new products to come! Don't miss out!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Blessings,
Anne
