Supplies: Inkadinkadoo Clear Mini Holiday Assortment, DCWV Red Toile Stax DP, SU Season of Cheer Rub Ons, misc jewel
This is for the weekly DDC that you can join in every week too! All the challenges are posted here! This week, Joan Ervin challenged us to case a card from Artystamper's gallery (aka Julia) in homage to her for keeping us DDC gals in line!! She is a wonderfully talented artist and an even more special friend! We love you Julia!! You'll love her SCS gallery too, if you haven't already been there!!
I've cased this blocking style that I first saw Julia do several months ago (where the little sentiment is part of the line drawn around a simple image) many times. This is the sample from her gallery and here is one from her blog. I shared it with my card club and have used it as my "go-to" style card when ever I need a quick, simple design.
So I made the holiday version card (above) this morning as my challenge card to case Julia! The fabulous reigndeer is by Inkadinkadoo -- $1.00 from Joannes and the sentiment is SU rub ons.
The one below is the card I created to share with my card club. The image is watercolored with reinkers.
Both totally easy peasy!!
This was an AWESOME challenge Joan!! Thanks for reminding us how wonderful our gal, Julia, is!!
TFL, I'm so glad you stopped by!
