Winter Snowflake and Spring Flowers

Hello Friends!

Today on the Heartfelt Creations blog are lots of wonderful samples to inspire you!  For my contribution, I created a "Winter" card and a "Spring" card.

The Winter Snowflake card uses the Ariana Lace dies to make a snowflake. The first time I saw those dies back in the Spring, I thought of snowflakes!  I die cut the lace pieces and my panels from the Romantique Garden paper collection using the soft pinks and coordinating maroon colors from the papers.

All the panels have been distressed with Vintage Photo ink and I finished it off with some sequence, organza ribbon and burlap twine.  Each of the die cut pieces have been sponged with Viva Decor Silver 3-D Stamp paint to give them an amazing shimmer.  I am such a fan of the 3-D stamp paint, I have every color in the collection!  It's like shimmer on steroids but has the neatest transparent property similar to shimmer sprays -- but better!  Wish I had been able to capture the shimmer better in the photo!

This is my "Spring" card that I made using the Decorative Flower Pot Die set to cut a two-layer panel from the Romantique Garden paper collection.  I positioned the "flower pot" sideways on the card and decorated it with several small Arianna Bloom flowers.  The sentiment is from Heartfelt Creations Sentiments Old English Collection.
