Easy Angel Ornaments!

Hi Friends!

I made these little angel ornaments this morning and wanted to get them posted before the day gets away from me!  They were so simple to make.  All you need is cardstock, some tinsel, the "Heralding Angel" die from Frantic Stamper and a hot glue gun!

The die has a flourish that cuts out within the dress of the angel so you can take that out and use it separately - which I did for these ornaments.

Here's the steps to create them:

Cut a 1-3/4" strip of white cardstock 11" long, score it every 1/4" and accordion fold it at all the score lines.  Glue the two ends together so you have a cylinder.  Set it aside for a moment.

Die cut two of the angels so that you can glue them back-to-back (since you'll be seeing both sides of the die cut).   Remove the flourish piece from the dress of each of the angels and set them aside.  Glue the two angels together back-to-back, and insert a piece of twine at the top before sealing together to create the hanger for the ornament.

Return to the cylinder, insert the angel into the center of the cylinder, and gather the cyclinder around the waist of the angel so it makes a "tee pee" shape.  Hold this together with one hand and squeeze hot glue into the center around the waist area to adhere the angel into place and secure the "tee pee" shape of the ornament.

Glue tinsel around the waist to camouflage the transition between the dress and the angel.  Glue on the flourishes to the dress area.

And that's it!  Really quick and very sweet ornaments.  The angels stand about 3" tall when done.
