It's Party Time!

Love the inspiration website Stephanie found for us this week!! Check out Tadenberg - how fun and I loved reading the German descriptions!!

I chose this "Alfi Trinkflasche gestreift" (coffee thermos??!) as my inspiration because it looked like a good start to a masculine BD card to me. It took on so many transformations, but I think I'm good with it now!!

Started with some striped DP from the Love Elsie, "Josie" collection and textured orange Bazill CS.  I used my new favorite card size 3-1/4" x 6-1/4" (found a box of envys this size at Office Supply store) as the base.

I got to use a couple of fun Imaginisce finds (the flag string and stamp) that I got from a nearby Scrapbook store called "Scrappers Boutique" that I just discovered (oh happy day!!) . (HI STEPHANIE!!  Go visit Stephanie's blog!!)  Can't believe I drove down that road so many times and never noticed it!!

I stamped the image onto a Nesti label, sponged it and colored in the balloons with Copics and a touch of white gel pen.  Popped up the label withe dimensionals.

Added the flag string across the label using glue dots to position how they drapped across.

Finally, I attached some SU Espresso brown 5/8" grosgrain with a brad and ruffled it up using Michelle Woerner's technique -- easy peasy!!

Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

TFL, I'm so glad you stopped by!
