This week's EtsyInspired shop is Cathy Walters. Her hand crafted pendants are wonderful, there's so much to love there!! I decided on this "Dream Big Dreams Sweet Bird" pendant as my inspiration.
I started to blurf around for a sketch to use and the first place I stopped was at Jen Del Muro's blog to check out her sketch because Ashley just so "happens" to be the guest designer over there this month!! (How convenient for me!!) That made it all so easy. Here is the sketch from Jen's blog:
The bird image and swirls on my card are all rub-ons by My Minds Eye. The crown is a brad that I got from the Scrapbook Convention in June -- great deal, 6 of these beauties for $1.00.
The lacy ribbon is Webster's Pages "Life and Lullaby" trim and the rosettes are Primas. I did indeed go a bit overboard here, but, I intended to incorporate a lacy ribbon look so my card would also qualify for the "Lots to Do" challenge to use Ribbons and lace! Ta DAH! I do so appreciate all the inspiring challenges out there!!
